Establishment & Functioning
The Nagpur District Central Cooperative Bank Ltd, Nagpur (NDCCB) started functioning as a bank from dt. 04/11/1911 according to the provisions of Cooperative Act. The Nagpur District Central Cooperative Bank Ltd, Nagpur, the sole Central Financing Agency (C.F.A.) established in 1911 for the Nagpur district of Vidarbha region of the then central province of the Indian peninsula. After the amalgamation of the separate Vidarbha region in the Maharashtra State, it becomes the Central Financing Agency for the farmers/agriculturist of Nagpur district in the Maharashtra State.
Cooperative Credit Structure
In the Pre and post independence, the crop loan delivery mechanism was carried out through C.F.A. i.e. DCCB under the Short Term Cooperative Credit Structure (STCCS) came into existence by the first cooperative law in the year 1904. Accordingly, the Nagpur District Central Cooperative Bank Ltd, Nagpur catering the needs of farmers, rural poor & artisans in particular & Banking facilities in general for other sector in the Nagpur district. The quadrilaterals socio-economic development of the country in general and in particular to Nagpur district, The Nagpur District Central Cooperative Bank Ltd, Nagpur also expanded its banking services to a substantial desired level with a continuous satisfactory performance under satisfaction of Reserve Bank's guidelines, banking regulations cum obligations, NABARD's guidelines, Govt. of India, State Govt. statutory obligations over and above 10 decades with 86 Branches.
